What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a completely relaxed and natural state that we go into everyday, almost like meditation or when we are daydreaming or watching the television. You are in complete control of yourself at all times, and cannot be made to do anything you don't want to. However when we are fully relaxed and enter this trance-like state, with help you can bypass the conscious mind to make subconscious changes. Your conscious mind is the critical and logical thinking part of our mind. Your subconscious is the part of your mind that holds emotions, beliefs and habits. It's the part of your mind that holds all the long term memory.

It is here in a state of complete relaxation we can make the changes necessary for you to live a happier and healthier life. Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic tool of total relaxation. It helps us make the changes we need to become who we want to be. It is a fast and effective way to make the positive changes you want in your life.

What to expect?

As your hypnotherapist, you will discuss with me your desired changes and how it is you wish to feel. I will then go through and discuss how hypnotherapy works, and answer any questions you may have about the treatment. Your treatment plan will be bespoke to your specific needs, to try and help you get to where you want to be.

During the sessions themselves, all I need you to do is sit back and completely relax. I will work directly with your subconscious mind to create new associations that are inline with your desired outcome. Working this way with hypnotherapy can be very effective and can be life changing. The subconscious mind has an amazing ability to heal itself both emotionally and physically.

If you decide to work with me, I will give you the tools to use in everyday life, as well as my expertise and dedication to helping you on your journey to making those all important changes. You will leave our sessions feeling empowered and knowing you are taking charge to make these powerful changes yourself. Everyone is different but on average you will work with me for 3 to 4 sessions. Some people require more.
